Thanks for the info. I am not very good with schematics. Are you able to decipher this patent?

By decipher you mean understand the symbols?
I under stood the majority of the symbols already and for the rest... I used a web page.

As you can see from the diagram in that patent it falls right in line with Tesla's way of thinking. Complex actions in the simplest way possible. Now if your able to tune your circuit to desired frequency you will get your "Magic" power supply.

ChokingEmu,

I went back to look at that patent and the images are not showing up any more. Sad It sounds like you have quite a bit of insight on Tesla's thought process. Can you discuss more about Tesla's complex simplicity? Again, thanks for your help.

Now you have to keep in mind that his car experiment took place during the later portion of his coil days.  I believe that he used his Canadian tower(Magnifying transmitter) as the transmitter for all the power he received. I also don't believe the story is accurate in its details, especially time.  He more then likely did use the '31 Pierce Arrow, but not during 1931. To many details don't add up about that car when the eye witness reports are mentioned.

Although what I have read about Tesla's coil transformer system, leads me to believe that the every day coils were just a starting point.  The Wardenclyffe tower was the finished product which used a third coil(helical resonator or cavity resonator) as the transmission coil.

You think that Tesla used the coil tower to produce enough energy to move the car. Maybe this is out of dumb hope, but I was thinking that it was some sort of production within the car, not just a transmitter and receiver. Some reasons for this thought is that I have never heard of Tesla actually finishing one of the towers outside of CO on a larger scale. Another thought is questioning the transmitting distance of a smaller scale tower. Westinghouse was said to have taken the large scale tower apart, at least the components, before Tesla had finished it in the area of the experiments with the car. Again I could be very wrong because my bias is to want this experiment to work. Plain Thank you for the insight.
