I stand corrected. Reading up on Tesla history through the time line link there was a coil tower in NY in 1903.

I've been thinking about this stuff for about 40 yrs and a couple months ago started looking at Nikola Tesla. I love this guy, he come to know things that I have only speculated on. I think he had knowlege that went places that he never eluded to, in a way that was open. I don't think he could tell anyone what he knew without putting the world in danger. At the time he was working on many of his more advanced stuff, the world wasn't very stable. I think he let slip a few things later on in his life and other than hope nobody got it, seemed to minimize them things in ways that didn't draw more attention. From then till now, nobody asks the right questions and if they did, nobody could answer them until they did the work. Myself, I hope the wrong ones don't start asking the right questions. I share one mental condition with Nikola Tesla, other than that where my mind is more random, his was not. I sometimes see things and know they are true and am unable to understand why I know they are true. These are things that I refer to as shiny things. Unless it shines or I have reasoned through something and found something that shines I can only call it unfinished or unknown. Sometimes, I see things that don't shine and also repulse me, these things I consider something is wrong. For the most part thing don't shine or repulse me but some times they do. Much of Tesla's work and what he spoke of shines. The strang thing to me is that the things that shine the most where Tesla comes in, is the things that he later only spoke of in an indirect way. Problem is and I may have a mental condition that causes this but, I can see the Question but don't know how to verbalize it. If I could ask the question, who but Nikola Tesla himself could answer me? I would say my question has something to do with what Tesla said the true nature of gravity was and tapping the power he had knowlege of that could move worlds or even stars. Maybe I am thinking to big but I think the answer to everything he was working on is in this area or a small way conected. Try hagging your hat on that for a couple months.
All this and what I was already working on is about to make my head pop. Tesla has put the shine on some of my own work. I realy like this guy. Better call it a night here and try to stop the storm in my head so I can sleep.

Nikola Tesla's work apears to shine when I look at it. Much of todays knowlege does not. I don't understand why this is but I hope to get to the bottem of this. A couple things shine brighter than others but seem to have gone un-noticed by others. Do these things not shine to anyone else?

I tend to agree with you that the box he was using was most likely US patent 685593
http://www.google.com/patents?vid=685953
or 685958
http://www.google.com/patents?vid=685953

Using the first would be a transmission and reception. the second would be stand alone of sorts.. If you go on youtube there are 5 or 6 people that have made basic Radiant energy cuircuts most seem to produce 1.6 volts or more if you move a power emmiting device close to it one uses one of those lightening globe to show the diffrence.  Im not one to beleive his inventions are random he was a driven person.

My own side theory is that he had several Ambiant cuircuts in that box and alone may produce 3 to 5 volts... BUT it he had his tower pushing air into the baloon as he explains it then that would be a always nearby mildly electrical force hence ramping the 5 volts to 12 or 14? enough to power a light elec vehicle or maybe mroe ambiant cuircutry was in there? OR maybe JUST one important part of a radiant cuircut a large one or many built into the car so without that piece no power with it it goes.

Unlike many I'm not out to put my own ideas over what Tesla may or may not have accomplished. Like many of you ive simply been reading through his patents and the books and papers and articles he wrote. Ive seen many that claim this or that on how his Natural media transmission supposidly worked. Yett till I read his patent from GB none had tried to really LISTEN to what Tesla explained. In the patent he goes over near everything one would need to Build the towers and recievers down to the resonance and herts values. Dont believe me go read the patent...

http://www.keelynet.com/tesla/B0008200.pdf

GB8200 He explains about using the wave that travel through the earth. This has been proven by many other scientists researching Lightening. He simply is taking advantage of this wave form to sort of feed more air into a already full baloon hence making the whole baloon expand at once very sleightly which could be detected on any side of the earth/baloon. then you repeat this over and over using the detecting equiptment to build a condensor up to power then repeat when the condensor releases the power as electricity in the new place.... its surprisingly simple andh he explains it all right there
