A friend just introduced me to the singing Tesla coils of Arc Attack.  My mind has been blown.  They use two solid state coils and modulate the arcs to coincide with the frequencies of audio notes and then drive them using midi files.

Amazing aren't they!  I was hooked as soon as I saw a film of them.  I'd love a turn in their Faraday cage.  Did you see the ones with Parsec in his suit?
