New project, made from salvaged materials and generous donations from Brian Foley and Frank Jones.

Portable, but 85 pounds. Easier to tug around on a wagon!
Should really consider mounting wheels...
Mounted in/on a 36" long x 12" deep x 8" tall, reclaimed oak box.
(Made from oak floor boards)
Uses a Maxwell 40kV .06 mfd cap, a "Super MOT" homemade transformer (posted previously on
this forum), and a dual 3/4" Tungsten spark gap. Transformer puts out around 4kV 400mA.

Output of Pancake Coils are a bowing flaming arc between 11" centers. Output of unipolar coil is 24" brush discharges.
The brush is fairly hot and abundant because of the high current transformer.
This project has three options of running - bipolar Pancake Coils, unipolar cylindrical Tesla Coil, or
(by removing Tesla secondary coil) low voltage d'Arsonval coil for high current low frequency experiments.
