CONFERENCE ON WIRELESS ENERGY

CALL FOR PRESENTERS/ EXHIBITORS

When: November 5, 2011
Where: Brookhaven National Laboratory, Long Island, NY Deadline: July 1,2011
Topic: Wireless Energy

The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, Shoreham, NY, is organizing a day-long conference on November 5, 2011 at Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island. The theme of the conference is "Wireless Energy."

We invite people, organizations and businesses involved in wireless technology to participate as exhibitors and/or presenters.

The purpose of the conference is to exchange information about the current status and future directions of wireless technology and to highlight the life and accomplishments Nikola Tesla, the father of wireless technology. We also hope to raise interest (and funds) to purchase Tesla's last remaining laboratory, just nine miles from the conference site, in Shoreham, NY. This Stanford White-designed building is in poor condition and is in danger of being lost forever if action is not taken soon. The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe plans to restore the building and create a science and education center on the site.

We encourage both technical and "popular" presentations and exhibits at the conference. It will be open to the public, as well as to the scientific community. The conference fee will be waived for presenters. However, the Laboratory does require a separate fee for vendors who are not making a conference presentation.

There are a limited number of openings in our presenter schedule and exhibitor area, so we suggest that you respond soon to let us know if you are interested in participating. Details are not required at this time.

Please respond to the address below with your level of interest.

Thank you.

Here's some additional information and a flier from Jane Alcorn about the upcoming Tesla Wireless Energy Conference.

Thanks,
Cameron

Dear Friends,

I am attaching a flier about our November conference, with a bit more information than I was able to share previously. I would greatly appreciate it if you would share it with your contact list, so as many people as possible will know about the conference. Please encourage everyone to visit our website to find the link to the conference registration.

We are trying to make this conference of the highest level - serious science and well-respected scientists and historians speaking about Tesla, his life, and his contributions to the world. We're very excited about it. Holding it at Brookhaven National Laboratory, with the cooperation and assistance of the Lab, is a strong statement about the nature of this event. Not all of the speakers are listed, so there will be additional experts to share their knowledge.

We're also excited about the TeslaGRAM event: running concurrently with the conference, ham radio operators will be connecting with people from many of Tesla's labs and residences throughout the world! We expect to have stations at Brookhaven Lab to monitor the event, at Wardenclyffe (!), at the New Yorker Hotel, in Colorado Springs, at Niagara Falls, and in Belgrade, and we're working to get additional sites set up.

Thanks for all the help you have given in the past, and for whatever assistance you can provide to publicize this important event.
