I've received some sad news that Margaret Cheney, author of "Man Out Of Time" and coauthor of "Master Of Lightning" has passed away at 89 years old on 01 August 2010.  I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but certainly appreciate her fine work in bringing with such enthusiasm the life of Nikola Tesla to such a wide audience.  I would like to offer my support to her daughter and surviving family, and would like to ask others in the Tesla community to also join me in this. 

If anyone has any fond recollections or comments to share with them, I'd be happy to forward them along.

Margaret Cheney is the famous author of the Serbo-American scientist Nikola Tesla, the first being “Tesla - Man Out of Time. She was also awarded the Tesla Gold Medal of the Serbian Academy of Science and the Nikola Tesla Foundation. Even if shes gone, her memories will remain to those people who have read her books.
